ELA6310: Foundations in Teaching ELA I
Course Description:
This course is the first in a two-course series on the foundations of ELA for early childhood educators. This course focuses on building foundational knowledge for early childhood educators in the areas of concepts of print, listening & speaking, phonemic awareness, phonics, word study and spelling instruction.
Prerequisite: None unless in a P-3 Program. For those in P-3 programs, this should be taken after MATH6412.
