PSYC6000: Child Development and Learning

Course Description:


This course will acquaint candidates with an overview of development and learning from birth to age 8. Candidates will learn to create environments that are conducive to learning at every stage of development, including how to integrate play, language and literacy activities that encourage learning without “deskwork.” Candidates will also learn techniques for creating learning environments that meet the needs of diverse learners, including those with disabilities and multilingual learners.
