`When are square roots first mentioned in K-12 mathematics? In the 7th grade math, there a couple of questions in the &amp;amp;quot;2-D Geometry&amp;amp;quot; that ask kids to find the radius amount given the Area of a circle, which of course, requires finding the square root. I first find them in 8th grade math, but did I miss it somewhere earlier? Thanks!`
