The new layout is easier to use/click than the old menu system. However, unless I missed it, the "download all attachments" button is gone? This button is very useful as it would otherwise take many clicks to download all the materials for a particular unit.

Hello there--yes the download all attachments button is missing at the moment and is not ready yet. We plan on adding it back soon, but since we continuously improve the curriculum throughout the year, it's advantageous to download the latest files a few days in advance of using it so that you get any corrections or updates. We'll try and add that functionality back soon.

Thanks. In the absence of the "download all attachments" it is a LOT of clicks to get the material for a Unit. In urban schools, mine at least, the Wifi/internet is unreliable so I download the material ahead of time to access it locally.

What physics text Book do you recommend for the Algebra Based Physics Course?

We do not recommend a book for this course. This material was developed because there were no great algebra-based physics textbooks, they either required trig or were conceptual, and now all of the schools we have helped to implement this material do not use an accompanying textbook. If students have a device in the classroom, then they open up the accompanying PDF of the presentation. If not, then schools print the presentation out for the students and this becomes their textbook.

Hi Melissa, The accompanying pdf files for chapter excerpts for the units are great, but there seems to be no chapter excerpt to go along with the unit: "Waves and Sound Waves". (Haven't checked all the other units yet, so there might be more.) Is there work in progress to address this, or do you have another suggestion for the time being? Thanks!

There are two separate presentations for Waves and Sound Waves. Once you click on presentation, then click on either waves or sound waves and you will see each of the SMART Notebook presentations as well as the PDFs.

This is obviously a fantastic resource, and I don't mean to complain, but there are small typos and other errors scattered throughout the files. Some might not be worth bothering with, but some confuse students, especially non-native English speakers. Is there a place to submit suggested corrections?

I'm revamping my regular physics this year to better align with NGSS. I found your resources invaluable for my AP Physics 1 course. Am I correct that vectors in 2D (trig) are NOT covered in this course (inclined planes, projectiles, static equilibrium, etc)? In the past I have covered forces in 2D so I never get to momentum. I'm thinking of skipping 2D so I can get to this. Thanks.

I am glad you have found the curricula material helpful to you Kristin. And you are correct; no trigonometry is utilized in this course--all problems are 1 dimensional.
