NJCTL Introduces STEM Corps

If someone you know is currently an unemployed NJ certified teacher, this program is for them!  NJCTL created STEM CORPS to support newly-graduated teachers in search of their first job, or someone between teaching positions at the moment, who are looking to expand their professional opportunities.  

They can help NJ students gain access to the skills they need by quickly earning an endorsement in a critical shortage area and transition their teaching skills to a much-needed field of STEM education.

No prior math or science experience is required, and if they complete Phase I  summer coursework toward a new endorsement, they can begin teaching in one of these STEM fields as soon as September 2019:

     *  Physics

     *  Chemistry

     *  Middle School Mathematics

     *  K-12 Mathematics

Deferred tuition is also available for qualified applicants.
