There are no tests for this unit.

Sean - since this unit is short we have just posted a "quest" which is a shorter version of a unit test. That is designed to be given at the completion of the unit. - Melissa

I am not sure if you are saying this because the unit plans say you can do this unit in 6 days. But the unit plan itself is not at all complete or grounded in the presentation. The study of acids/bases is such a huge part of chemistry that there is no way it can be done in 6 days. And to try to go through the slide show in 6 days would be impossible unless you were teaching 3 hour classes.

Hi Sean. You make a good point. We will adjust the unit plan and create a test and retest.

Thank you. I am just finishing this unit with my chemistry class. It took us about 3 and a half weeks to go through. Including two lab days. Its a huge presentation with a lot of information.

Sean thank you for your feedback. This is certainly one of the most important unit of the year as we work to bridge the story from chemistry into biology. It helps us to hear how long these units are taking in practice rather than just on paper.
