The Thompson Family Foundation Becomes a Partner

CTL Celebrates Respected Foundation’s Critical Support
for Courseware Development and Enhancement

In committing to a two-year program of support for ongoing PSI-PMI courseware development, the Thompson Family Foundation becomes CTL’s newest partner. CTL Executive Director Bob Goodman expressed his excitement, “Our courseware is the central core of all our work. Having funding partners who understand the value of the on-going effort that keeps our courseware current and strengthens its content is absolutely critical to our success. We are so grateful the Thompson Family Foundation has become an ally in that work.”

Alan Siegel, Secretary of the Thompson Family Foundation board explained their interest in supporting CTL, saying "we think CTL's courseware programs are innovative and will give teachers and students worldwide better alternatives to learn math and science which is so critical to the future well-being of humanity."

Wade F.B. Thompson was the founder and CEO of Thor Industries, the world’s leading recreation vehicle company. He created the Thompson Family Foundation in 1986 to support family interests including preservation and conservation of public places, the arts, education, and cancer research. In his lifetime, Wade was the founding president of the Park Avenue Armory and together with the foundation has been widely recognized for leadership in rescuing an extremely important historic facility by restoring and repurposing it as a unique cultural center. Today, the foundation carries his family’s work forward.
