Outage Notification
On Thursday, October 30, 2025 at 5am ET we will be updating the NJCTL Moodle site. The site will be unavailable for approximately 4 hours.
NJCTL is partnering with the Camden Education Fund (CEF) to provide funding for 80% of the cost of tuition for currently certified teachers to add a Teachers of Students with Disabilities (TOSD) endorsement.
Who Qualifies:
Teachers with a Standard, CE or CEAS who teach in a district, charter, or renaissance school in Camden are eligible to apply.
Schools may also have additional qualification requirements.
Program Description:
This 24-credit Endorsement program is approved by the New Jersey Department of Education to provide all the required instruction so that currently certified New Jersey teachers can add a Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD) endorsement. Click here for program.
Upon being accepted into the program, candidates begin the eight-course sequence while applying to the DOE for a TOSD Certificate of Eligibility (CE). That CE can be used to get a provisional certificate from their district while they complete their coursework for their Add-On Endorsement.
Those who complete the TOSD Endorsement program are also eligible to earn a Master of Science in Special Education by taking two additional courses. (These two courses are not included in the scholarship). Click here for program.
All courses are 100% online, asynchronous, and self-paced. Candidates can start anytime and finish at their own pace, though the full program should be completed in under two years.
