NJCTL Petitions New Jersey IHE to be Granted Graduate School Status

NJCTL's petition to be granted status as an Institution of Higher Education (IHE) was reviewed by external higher education experts in June 2019.  The report revealed that NJCTL meets all of the standards to be an institution of higher education in New Jersey.  The petition will be reviewed by the New Jersey President's Council Executive Board with a final determination to be made by the secretary of higher education.  http://njc.tl/1cq

On March 23, 2020, NJCTL was granted licensure as an IHE from the New Jersey Office of the Secretary of Higher Education.  The following degrees can be obtained through this licensure:


  • Masters of Science in Teaching and Learning Chemistry

  • Masters of Science in Teaching and Learning Mathematics

  • Masters of Science in Teaching and Learning Physics
