NJCTL has a strong track record of creating successful NJDOE-approved educator preparation programs in science, mathematics, computer science, and special education, and will soon branch out into ESL and Bilingual-Bicultural Education.
Our existing programs are accredited by AAQEP and more than 500 teachers or prospective teachers have completed a program and about that many are currently enrolled.
NJCTL is seeking part-time faculty members to add capacity to its existing team of faculty and course developers to create high-quality ESL/Bilingual certification programs for current and prospective New Jersey teachers. This project will develop 5 courses that will comprise two programs, one for current teachers and the other for prospective teachers. Program development is expected to take about one year.
