Online, Asynchronous CollegeBoard® Approved AP® Courses

These rigorous courses allow students to:

  • Take courses not offered by their school.
  • Start before the school year begins to get a head start.
  • Take the courses they want without scheduling conflicts.

These courses are built on NJCTL’s decade of experience teaching teachers the content, and how to teach the content, of AP courses.

Students can enroll in these courses on their own or by their school. In either case, the student should discuss the options with their school to make the best choice and ensure that they will have a site to take the exam.

It’s important for NJCTL, the student, and the school to collaborate to achieve the best solution.

High school courses are NCAA® approved.

PHYS4603

AP Physics 1 ($950)

Students will learn AP Physics 1 and be prepared to take the AP Exam. Topics include vector analysis, 2D kinematics & dynamics, circular motion & universal gravitation, rotational motion, energy & momentum, and simple harmonic motion.

PHYS4605

AP Physics 2 ($950)

Students will learn AP Physics 2 and be prepared to take the AP Exam. Topics include 2D electric forces & fields, electric potential and capacitors, electric current and RC-circuits, magnetism & electromagnetic induction, electromagnetic waves, geometric optics, fluids, thermal physics, quantum physics & atomic models, and nuclear physics.

AP Physics C: Mechanics ($950)

Students will learn AP Physics C: Mechanics and be prepared to take the AP Exam. Topics include vectors, one & two-dimensional kinematics, dynamics, energy, momentum, rotational motion, universal gravitation, and simple harmonic motion.

AP Physics C: E&M ($950)

Students will learn AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism, and be prepared to take the AP Exam. Topics include electric charge & field, Gauss’s Law, electric potential & capacitance, electric current & circuits, magnetic field & forces, and inductance.

CHEM4704

AP Chemistry ($950)

Students will learn AP Chemistry and be prepared to take the AP Exam. Topics include atomic structure, compounds, stoichiometry, solutions, kinetics, equilibrium, thermochemistry and electrochemistry.

CSCI4310

AP Computer Science Principles ($950)

Students will learn PSI AP Computer Science Principles and be prepared to take the AP exam. Topics include an introduction to programming, operators & logic, algorithms & control structures, lists, and functions & procedures, the global impact of computing, bits & bytes, data & privacy, graphics & images, and the Internet & networking.

CSCI4314

AP Computer Science A ($950)

Students will learn AP Computer Science A and be prepared to take the AP Exam. Topics include fundamentals of programming, control statements & loops, methods & arrays, strings, classes, array lists, inheritance & polymorphism, recursion, and searching & sorting.

MATH4453

MATH 4453: AP Calculus AB ($950)

Students will learn AP Calculus AB and be prepared to take the AP Exam. Topics include Limits & Continuity; Derivatives; Applications of Derivatives; Analyzing Functions Using Derivatives, Integration; and 2D Applications of Integration.

MATH4458

MATH 4458: AP Statistics ($950)

Students will learn AP Statistics and be prepared to take the AP Exam. Topics include Introduction to Probability & Statistics, Linear Regression & Correlation, Data Collections & Displays, Geometric Probability, Discrete & Normal Probability, Advanced Probability & Statistics, Confidence Intervals, and Hypothesis Testing.
