I do not think the diagram on question 21 is very clear.  What direction is the wire facing with respect to the page in the initial and final state?

The coil of wire is going into and out of the page such that the coil is perpendicular to the bar magnet (the axis of the coil of wire is parallel to the bar magnet). As the magnet is pushed towards the coil, a current is induced in the coil of wire to oppose the magnet entering it. As a result, the coil and magnet repel one another and the coil swings away from the magnet.
