Dear admin, I would like to know the answer to Q7 parts (d), (e), and (f). For Q7(d), I found 0.025C (not 0.0252C). Although this is only a minor difference, this affects the next answer in part (e). Also, I would like to know the reason of the current in part (f) has negative values (below the x-axis). Thank you!

Siu Jia, it depends on how many sig figs one keeps as they are working through the problem. It is not a big deal. However, I did change the answer key to 0.025 C, and then part e to 45 J. There were too many sig figs in the part e answer anyway. And you are right, the current is still going in the same direction as it was when the capacitor reached equilibrium, so I changed the graph. And if you have not already - check out the problem solving presentation for this unit - all the units have a presentation where they solve free response problems step by step. And, in this case this problem was solved. Here is where it is: https://njctl.org/materials/units/current-and-circuits/?open=Presentation Thanks for the feedback, John
