Why does the power point not show the answers in Plant and Animal structures?

I am having trouble finding the activities. The Earthworm Activity and the Internal Organ System Activity are on the plan but I cannot find them. Thank you in advance

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The unit plan that was posted was an older version and therefore did not align with the current presentation. The correct unit plan is now posted online.

On the unit Lesson Plan, it mentions the set-up of an African violet lab. Which lab is that because I don't see African violets mentioned on any of the labs. Maybe I missed something.

Hello! I believe that you are using an older unit plan. Please double check that you are using the unit plan dated 9/24/2018. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

In the teacher notes of the lab to start the unit, it says:• The first page of this lab includes “Before You Begin” questions. Have the students answer these questions on the same day that they prepare the plants. This will allow you to assess their prior knowledge about the subject. I don't see any before you begin questions. I only see them on the second lab about plants.I also think it would be good for the students to make predictions beforehand and to write a hypothesis for the investigation. It also calls the lab-Are leaves important? and the student lab is titled how do plants breath?

Barbara - thank you for pointing out the issues with this lab. A corrected version of the student worksheet is now posted. - Melissa

On the bite into structure presentation I believe that the photo on the tooth challenge #1 slide is incorrect. I looked up a helicoprion and that is not what it looks like. Also it is the same photo as tooth challenge #3.

Michelle - please take a look at the newly uploaded file - I assume you were viewing the PDF - we are having issues with our website converting the SMART Notebook file to PDF - sometimes pictures get swapped out. It is now correct. Do you have access to SMART Notebook? If not, you can download an older, free version of Notebook at this link: www.njctl.org/notebook -Melissa

Thank you I checked it now is correct. I have smart notebook installed at school but I can only look at the PDF on my persnal computer. Thank you!

Melissa Axelsson • 7 months agologin to reply

You are welcome. Feel free to use the instructions and the code to download SMART Notebook on your personal computer!

Hi...sorry I am not able to find this but where is the Tooth Challenge for the "Bite into Structure and Function" Lab located?

Melissa Axelsson • 6 months, 3 weeks agologin to reply

There are three files posted for this. All three are found under the Lab section. You need to be logged in to your teacher account to see the teacher notes and answer key file.
