CHEM4704: AP Chemistry

Course Description:

This course is for students to learn the content of PSI AP Chemistry and be prepared to take the AP Exam. Topics include atomic structure, compounds, stoichiometry, solutions, kinetics, equilibrium, thermochemistry and electrochemistry.

Prerequisite:  Chemistry

This course covers a full year of material and students can take advantage of its asynchronous nature by working with their NJCTL teacher to just focus on gaps from last year, get ready for next year, or take the entire course.

If taking the entire course, students need to check with their school about using the course for new credit, credit recovery, or satisfying prerequisites. Those decisions are at the sole discretion of the school and, if they are important to the student, should be discussed with the school prior to enrollment.

Students of any age may take an NJCTL course. However, students under the age of 18 must be enrolled by their parent or guardian, who can accept Terms of Service and make payment.

Enrollment Procedure:

1. Parent/Guardian log in to your account, or create an account if you don’t already have one.

2. Add the child taking the course to your account.

3. Select the child, enroll them in a course, and pay.

4. Student and parent/guardian will then receive a welcome email along with an introduction to the course instructor.
