Teaching PSI Biology

This course prepares teacher to teach PSI Biology using the strategies learned in the Methods course. All the units, and the elements that comprise them, will be downloaded and reviewed so that teachers feel comfortable both with the overall structure of the course as well as the essential elements to implementing it. While, ideally, PSI Biology would be taught to students who have completed both PSI Algebra Based Physics and PSI Chemistry, modifications to teach it to students who have not taken these courses will be discussed. Some specific topics include:

? Setting up and using lab equipment
? Downloading and using curriculum materials from the CTL website
? Pacing: in order to prepare students for AP Biology
