This 3-credit course prepares teachers to teach PSI AP Physics B using the strategies learned in the Methods course. All the units, and the elements that comprise them, will be downloaded and reviewed so that teachers feel comfortable both with the overall structure of the course as well as the essential elements to implementing it. While, ideally, PSI AP Physics B would be taught to students who have completed PSI Algebra Based Physics, modifications to teach it to students who have taken other first year physics courses will be discussed. Some specific topics include:

? Setting up and using lab equipment
? Downloading and using curriculum materials from the CTL website
? Registering as an AP Teacher with the College Board
? Pacing: in order to maximize student understanding prior to the May exam
