New Jersey Center for Teaching & Learning (CTL) offers professional courses are designed to complement the free content for its 19 posted courses. The use of this CTL curriculum in schools, along with successful research-based teaching methods, have resulted in raising student achievement. These courses are currently offered for professional development hours through CTL or graduate credits in collaboration with Kean University.

Professional Development Hours

CTL is an authorized provider of professional development hours in New Jersey. These professional development opportunities may be eligible for continuing education credits in other states. Participants are urged to contact their school administration regarding any continuing education requirements. Note that some districts accept professional development towards movement on their salary guide.  All participants who finish the course will receive a certification of completion.  Cost for these courses is $330/credit.

Graduate Credits Available

Kean University, in collaboration with CTL, also offers these courses for graduate credit.  Kean University’s tuition rates for Fall 2011 courses is $695.00/credit for NJ Residents and out-of-state tuition is $804.00/credit.
